BIASE CONSTITUENCY: HELEN ISAMOH MEETS WITH PDP LEADERSHIP

Frontline Biase State Constituency aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Cross River State, Helyn Isamoh Agan-Egodo (Mrs), has appealed to delegates of the PDP in Biase local government area to vote for her as their preferred candidate in the forthcoming party primary election because she represents peace, stability and progress not only in Biase but to the entire party.

She made the appeal recently in Calabar where she met with the party leadership to give her the party’s ticket, assuring them that she would provide effective representation to the good people of Biase State constituency.

The former Special Assistant on Gender and Development to Governor Ben Ayade said that her desire was to provide proper legislation and empower the people of the constituency if elected.

In his remark, the State PDP Chairman, Ntufam Inok Edim, urged the party chieftains to rally support for Isamoh to help her realise her ambition.

Inok Edim applauded Helen’s people oriented campaign drive which is anchored on proactive legislation and sustainable development, stating that since she declared her intention to run for the seat she has been consistent and committed to the betterment of her people if elected.

“I must praise your courage and also encourage other women to take a queue from you to be part of politics, through which they could participate in the decision making of government in Cross River State.

“Women shouldn’t stay at home and expect to have free tickets as the party the PDP is ready to implement the 35 percent affirmative action for women in Cross River State. And that can only be implemented if women show seriousness as exhibited by Helen Isamoh.

“Helen’s personality and track records speaks high as her achievements recorded in the Ayade administration through the office she headed as Special Assistant to Governor on Gender and Development) for 3 years is unequalled and unparalleled. I hereby charge young men and women to emulate her as she is a young woman of noble character and high reputation.

“I assure Mrs Agan Egodo and her team of credible and transparent primaries which will soon be taking place.

The delectable Helen promised to assist the people of Biase to harness the abundant political and economic resources in the area in order to reduce their yearnings and suffering.

She also assured them of her poise to make a difference in politics, saying that she would pursue robust legislation that would propel development in the area.
