YEMA YALA DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE (YYDA) GENERAL ELECTION RESCHEDULED

 

The Independent Electoral Commission of YEMA YALA DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE, Abuja has postponed her election to 1st of December, 2019.

The general election was earlier slated for November 17th, 2019.

This came as a result of majority request from new members seeking for opportunity to participate in the election as they complained that the earlier election notice was not detailed enough as electoral requirements were not sufficiently elaborated.

The postponement which was contained in a release signed by the Electoral Committee Secretary, Prince George Ogonyi stated that in line with agreement by all it was agreed that December 1st, 2019 be unanimously adopted as the new date for the election. This is to accommodate new members of the association.

“By this notice the organization wishes to inform the entire Yala indigenes in Abuja and environs that registration and sales of intent forms are ongoing and would last until 30/11/2019”, the statement further stated.

All interested aspirants are to purchase nomination forms at the IEC’S Secretariat,

Chairman:N20,000
Deputy chairman: N10,000
Secretary General: N10,000
All other offices: N5000.
