DISCLAIMER BY SENATOR PHILIP ADUDA AGAINST ABUJA INDIGENOUS PEOPLES PROTESTS

My attention has been drawn to a despicable and malicious post, by detractors and subterfuge elements, on my affiliation and support for one Yusuf Ahmadu Yunusa a.k.a Buhu Barkonun, who staged a counter protest in support of the already disbanded SARS.

He further gave a 48 hours ultimatum to the peaceful #ENDSARS protesters in Abuja to vacate the streets of the FCT.

To make matters worse, he has released a picture of my humble self and him, thereby eliciting and fuelling speculative tendencies, that I am aware of his despicable act.

Therefore, I categorically disassociate myself and my constitutency from this character called Buhu Barkonun. I and the good natives and constituents do not in any way or form support his theatrics or actions, and he has no capacity to speak unbehalf of the good people of FCT.

You will recall, that I have lent my voice on the floor of the National Assembly, even in public glare, supporting the ongoing peaceful protests organized by the Nigerian youths to end Police Brutality and institute other necessary reforms.

I will continue to serve the best interest of my people, The FCT and by extension, our great Nation Nigeria.

I once again reiterate that he acted in his personal capacity, ultra vires to the demands of my constituents, the good people of Abuja.

Continue to have assurances of my highest esteemed regards for the administration and great Nigerian Youth.

SENATOR PHILIP TANIMU ADUDA( MFR)
