For the GM, Cross River Waste Management Agency, Hon Sunday Ebeku Oko, aka Otolo, there couldn’t have been a better way to mark his 60th birthday anniversary than visiting the Nigeria Correctional Center, Afukang Calabar, Orphanage home by Bateba and the aged home by gifting inmates with food items, medicals, clothings etc etc.
The activities marking the birthday anniversary celebration of the General Manager began today, May 13th, 2023 with a visit to the above mentioned places.
Flagging off the visitation, the GM alongside his wife, political associates, friends and staff of the Agency said he is delighted and thankful to God on his new age.
At the Correctional Center, orphanage and aged home he visited everyone and sympathised with them over their plight and sickness. Thereafter, he presented food items, medicals and clothings to them.
Addressing the staff, the GM appealed to everyone to be patient with their inmates and patients as detention, old age and sickness can be so frustrating.
The GM later returned to his Calabar residence in preparation for a Thanksgiving Mass by 7am tomorrow at St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Ikot Ansa , Calabar which will be followed by the cutting of the birthday cake by the GM assisted by his wife, staff of the Waste Management Agency and many others, including chieftains of All Progressives Congress (APC) at Harry-D Hub, opposite Sweet Dreams Hotel, off Evara Esu Street, State Housing, Calabar.
With him on the entourage include Comrade Okori Benard Oko , SSA Youth Mobilization, Cross River North, Mr Paddy Egbede of Cross River Quarry, Dame Lydia Agbaje, Director Administration, Mr Nyong Effiong Director, Operations, Dr Dominic Ogbaji and Mr John Onwuka Ogbajie .
