Late Chief J.I.C Igbe: Hon Jude Ngaji Commiserates With Family

The Hon. Member Representing Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency, Hon Jude Ogbeche Ngaji has commiserated with the entire Igbe family over the demise of an octogenarian, administrator and politician, Late J.I.C Igbe, JP, the Nanghija 1 of Nkim who passed on the 21st of February, 2022 at the age of 86.

In his message of commiseration, the lawmaker said death is an inestimable end which must come when it will come.

“DEATH no doubt is an inestimable end, which must come when it will come. If it comes to a beloved one, the grief of all those affected as a result of the death can best be imagined, especially when it becomes very obvious that never again can such a fellow be seen or heard.”

Describing the late sage as a mobile encyclopedia with so much wealth of knowledge, humour and vast experience in every sector of life, Ngaji said he was detribalised Nigerian, elder statesman and a selfless administrator who devoted his entire life uplifting humanity. He would be greatly missed but his legacies live on.

In paying his last respect to the deceased, the Lawmaker through Mr Ishone Ayim, Mr Epass Mgbado, former Ogoja APC Chapter Chairman, Hon Lylian Uba , Ogoja Urban Ward 1 Councilor, Mr George Oniga and other party members paid a condolence visit to the immediate family at Ishiborr, Ogoja earlier today.

The delegation which was received by the deceased first son, Mr Michael Igbe presented a Cow to the family and prayed God to be with them especially at this moment of grief.

The Late Igbe was the first indigenous Principal of Mary Knoll College, Okuku-Yala, and a man of many parts who throughout his sojourn on earth showed so much love and affection for community development and entrenchment of purposeful leadership at all levels.

He will be laid to rest today Saturday 7, 2022 at his ancestral home at Ogoja in Cross River State.
